A hand embroidered Kasuti pocket square executed on lightweight 100% Mulmul Khadi through the traditional Murgi and Gavanti embroidery techniques of Karnataka. Burnt copper and dark espresso threadwork articulate a Swastik motif arranged through structured border geometry and counted directional movement.

Hand-crocheted edging stabilises the border without removing the subtle pull, release, and weave variation formed gradually through prolonged embroidery practice. The embroidered border remains structurally contained, allowing the open khadi surface to retain equal visual weight.

Kasuti is a counted-thread embroidery tradition associated with the regions of present-day Karnataka. The practice is recognised through geometric precision achieved by counting the warp and weft threads of the fabric rather than relying on printed guides or traced outlines.
