A hand embroidered pocket square crafted on lightweight 100% Mulmul Khadi, featuring a Swastik motif rendered through the traditional Murgi and Gavanti embroidery techniques of Karnataka. Ember and deep indigo threadwork move through the corner placement in measured intervals, allowing the remaining khadi surface to breathe around the embroidered formation.

Around the edges, hand-crocheted finishing introduces structural restraint, while softened yarn movement and small surface inconsistencies preserve the cloth’s distinctly hand-worked character.

Kasuti is a counted-thread embroidery tradition associated with the regions of present-day Karnataka. The practice is recognised through geometric precision achieved by counting the warp and weft threads of the fabric rather than relying on printed guides or traced outlines. Motifs frequently draw upon architecture, flora, fauna and symbolic forms observed within everyday life.
