Bhil - Tribal Chorus | 100% Linen | Limited Edition
The Story
The surface is organised through repetition.
Elephant motifs are placed in vertical progression along the right panel of the garment. They do not overlap or interact; they occupy their own measured intervals. The spacing creates movement without narrative.
A single bird is positioned above one elephant. Its placement interrupts the repetition without disturbing balance. The composition remains stable, yet not uniform.
The work does not rely on background scene-building. The garment itself becomes the field. Motifs are allowed to stand independently, without landscape or framing device.
Each elephant differs slightly in colour distribution and dot density. Repetition here does not produce duplication. It produces variation within structure.
The painting is applied by hand on a completed linen garment. Placement responds to seam and fall.
The painting is carried onto a linen shirt.
