Chamba Rumal - Pink Bouquet | 100% Cotton | Limited Edition
The Story
A lightly toned surface extends across the cloth, with the embroidered work positioned toward one side of the field.
The motif is placed in the lower right area, leaving the larger field open and uninterrupted.
Three floral heads rise along slender stems. Each flower is built with rounded pink petals surrounding a lighter central stitch. The stems vary in height, creating a staggered vertical arrangement.
Leaves appear at intervals in two shades of green, formed through short directional stitches. At the base of two stems, compact dark blue thread forms small grounded shapes.
Each element remains separated, with visible spacing between stems and flowers.
Variations in stitch density appear across petals, leaves, and stems, with slight irregularities along edges indicating hand execution.
A continuous border stitch runs along all edges, forming a linear frame around the cloth.
Drawing from Chamba Rumal visual language and executed in Do-rukha embroidery, the work is carried out on handloom cotton fabric, with both sides retaining equal clarity.
